The finale of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ ended with a proposal — and a very unique engagement ring for Jade Tanner! We have all the details on her almost 3-carat, emerald-cut sparkler from Tanner Tolbert right here.
One lucky couple found love on Bachelor in Paradise, as the finale episode on Sept. 7 ended with a romantic proposal for Jade Roper, 28, and Tanner Tolbert, 28. Tanner, a finance manager, presented Jade with a gorgeous, 2-carat Neil Lane engagement ring, which featured an emerald stone — and we have all the info on her unique sparkler!
Jade’s 2-carat, emerald cut ring is set on its side, in platinum, and is accented by 12 round, brilliant-cut diamonds — now that’s one sparkler! “The ring presented last night is very interesting. It is a platinum ring with small diamonds on the side that has some antique elements, a reproduction of deco settings, and quite popular. What makes this ring unique, is the fact that the almost 3-carat, emerald-cut diamond is set horizontally. Traditionally, diamonds are almost always set up and down,” Shari Fabrikant of Robert Fabrikant Inc. in NYC told us.
“The diamond appears to be a very fine quality. If the diamond is an F color and Very Slightly Imperfect, the ring could run upwards of $88,000,” she continued.
So, is this a new trend we could expect to see? “Combining antique elements with an updated twist is a bit funky. It is something I often recommend to clients who are resetting their stones from their original engagement rings,” Shari said — but clearly anyone can decide upon a unique ring if it is a look they really love!
From the exquisite stone to the unique setting, it is clear that this ring is unlike any other — and we love it. Do you agree? What do you think of Jade’s unique ring? Check it out and let us know!
