You’re going to need a whole box of tissues after watching this video. Tyler Perry, 45, revealed the tribute video he made for Bobbi Kristina Brown’s funeral, and it is beyond touching. He remembers the vibrant life of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, who tragically died at the age of 22 on July 26.
The video is titled “A Celebration of Our Princess” and looks back on Bobbi Kristina’s life. The tribute video starts with a quote from Krissi: “I hope you feel my love, pain, beauty, agony at times, blessings all the time. No one understands me. And I don’t expect them to, but I will try to spread my love and my story through words and this blessing of a powerful voice mom has given me.”
Tyler captioned the video, “The Houston estate asked if I would share this tribute that I put together for Bobbi Kristina’s private funeral. On behalf of the Brown and Houston families, we would all like to thank you for your prayers and support. God bless.”
The video features precious family photos, ones that Bobbi Kristina’s family will likely cherish forever. The tribute was also set to Whitney’s song “You Were Loved.” The final line of the video simply reads, “Goodbye for now.”
Bobbi Kristina passed away on July 26, after spending nearly 7 months in a coma. She had been moved to hospice care shortly before her death. Her family was constantly by her side as she fought for her life. The Houstons and the Browns came together to bury Bobbi Kristina by her mother’s side in Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey.
Our thoughts remain with Bobbi Kristina’s family and friends.
