Justin Bieber, 21, is popping up everywhere right now– and we obviously couldn’t be happier! Justin was on hand to celebrate rapper/producer Travis Scott at his album release party at NYC hotspot Up & Down on Sept. 3 in New York, and not only was the Biebs his usual supportive self, but he even hit the stage with Travis at one point to literally spit a verse of rap! Gosh, if Justin goes this full out for a friend’s album release, we can only imagine what Justin has in store for his own! The seemingly fan-captured video isn’t the greatest quality, but please, we will obviously take what we can get when it comes to Justin rapping! All we can really make out is Justin, wearing a hoodie, and getting down with himself. Watch the clip below!
It’s amazing that Bieber was even able to muster the energy for such a musical feat considering the week he’s had. First off, we are still spent from his Aug. 30 Video Music Awards performance so, like, how must he feel? But that was just the beginning! He then followed up that now-iconic performance with a Sept. 2 visit to Jimmy Fallon and The Tonight Show.
Of course, when you’re Justin Bieber, you don’t just take an Escalade to the NBC studios– you obviously get there via a quick skateboard ride through Times Square. Naturally. JB kept that energy going throughout his appearance on the show as well, jamming out with the legendary Roots band, before sitting down to chat with Mr. Fallon and explain what was really behind his emotional breakdown following his VMA performance.
“The last time I was at an awards show, I was booed,” Justin said. “I think it’s just like I’ve worked so hard at this album and at becoming the man I want to become, and then stepping into situations, you just can’t help but feel judged… And I think that that was what was so special about the emotional moment at the end, that it was authentic. It was real. I was really just wanting it so bad.”
What do you think of Justin’s rapping with Travis? Should he stick to just singing?
