‘Game of Thrones’ has cast a lot of good lucking, amazing actors. And the latest checks off every box — so much that it’s unreal. Yes, that’s right, Prince Charming himself just landed a role on season six, and you won’t believe who he’s playing.
If Jon Snow is really gone, the ladies will be craving some serious eye candy on Game of Thrones — and HBO is delivering. The news broke on Sept. 4 that Freddie Stroma, 28, who you may know from UnREAL or Harry Potter, is joining the cast — and we’ll be seeing him as the younger — and favorite brother of . . .
That’s right, Freddie will play Dickon Tarley, the little brother of Samwell (John Bradley), EW first reported. While we don’t know much, we can tell you that from the books GoTi is based on, Dickon is the favorite of their father, Lord Randyll Tarly, who forced Sam to either die or join the Night’s Watch, so that his brother could be the heir, not him.
Wait, What About ‘UnREAL?’
As a diehard UnREAL fan, I have to wonder if this will impact his chances of being on season two of the Lifetime hit.
Freddie’s UnREAL costar and real-life girlfriend, Johanna Braddy was all about having him back for season two — and the creators of the show have already said he’d be back. “We’re still talking about what season two is going to be, but we love Adam and we love Freddie and that door is wide open,” co-creator Sarah Getrude Shapiro told The Hollywood Reporter. Co-creator Marti Noxon also added that there won’t be a Royal Renovations, and the format is still being figured out. “It will still be Everlasting, Rachel and Quinn are our main focus, but we’re not exactly sure what format the show is going to take yet. There’s always ways to bring back those guys.”
Are you excited to see Freddie on GoT?
