Beyonce is one of the most beloved figures in music and entertainment, but that’s nothing compared to the utter love she gets from her family and friends. To commemorate her 34th birthday, Bey’s loved ones created the ultimate bday playlist. Incredible.
If you’re a frequent visitor to Beyonce‘s website (guilty), you’ve noticed a stunning new feature today, September 4. To celebrate Queen Bey’s 34th birthday, all her friends and family have put together a playlist of sorts. But it’s not just your ordinary mix to jam out into the car to; it’s a collection of songs that remind them of their girl the most.
Beyonce has a lot of people that care about her deeply. Her present, which must be cherished by the “7/11” singer, is a compilation of songs hand-selected by people like her mother, father, former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and of course, husband Jay Z. There are so many others who contributed to the sprawling playlist, to wish Bey the happiest of birthdays.
It’s not just music, either. Each song is accompanied by why that person specifically picked that track. Whether it reminded them of Beyonce, or it had a personal significance between the two of them. It’s such a touching tribute, and incredibly sweet. See the full list of songs here!

The one we absolutely can’t get over? Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy, 3, picking “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid. This is just the cutest ever. Blue’s tribute to her mama read “Mommy you sung this to me all the time. Happy Birthday, Mommy!” Adorable! We just love that she said “sung,” as if she’s not still a baby girl. You know Jay was cracking up when she told him this important message.
We can only imagine the range of emotions Beyonce felt when she received this fantastic gift. The immaterial presents are always the most priceless! Now we wonder what song she would pick for each person on that list! HollywoodLifers, which song on Beyonce’s playlist is your favorite? Tell us in the comments and take our poll!
