Yes, it’s true — it’s been 20 years since ‘Clueless’ hit theaters and now, the creator is heading to NYCC in October to celebrate and share her priceless stories.
As if! New York Comic Con just announced that this year will include a conversation with Amy Heckerling, the director of Clueless… And she’ll be joined by surprise stars from the movie! Who else is itching for a seriously fashionable reunion?
I am extremely excited to announce that I’ll be sitting down with Amy as well as surprise cast members of the movie, on Saturday, October 10th at New York Comic Con for a conversation that you won’t want to miss. The panel will take place at the Javits Center from 1:45 PM to 2:45 PM in Room 1A10!
Of course, I know you’re wondering who could make a guest appearance. Will be the ever-so-fashionable Cher (Alicia Silverstone)? The stunning Dionne (Stacey Dash)? What about the hysterical Murray (Donald Faison)? And of course, could the hot brother-turned-boyfriend Josh (Paul Rudd) show up? These are all questions you’ll have the answers to if you head to New York Comic Con for the panel!
‘Clueless’ Makes Huge Impact
The movie came out in summer 1995, twenty years ago, and immediately impressed everyone. It later became a TV show, inspired a ton of new fashion trends, and even was the theme of Iggy Azalea‘s break out music video for “Fancy.” Amy also just confirmed that the movie was being made into a Broadway production. It’s no secret that the show seriously became a fan favorite from the moment it came out and with such a stellar cast, it’s not surprising!
New York Comic Con runs from October 8 to October 11 in NYC at the Javits Center. For all the details, click here! Then make sure you check out the Clueless panel on Saturday! Plus, send me questions on Twitter that you have for Amy and the surprise guests!
