OMG! Just like ‘Full House’ and ‘The X-Files,’ ‘Charmed’ may be getting the reboot treatment, as Alyssa Milano talked to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY and said she’s ‘not opposed’ to the idea of bringing the show back to life. She’s also open to the idea of Shannen Doherty returning.
When asked whether she’d like to see Charmed or Who’s The Boss? get the reboot treatment, Alyssa told us, “I can totally see it! Both could lend itself because those stories can continue. How great would it be to see Tony Danza as a grandfather?! That would be amazing, right? But everyone agrees with both shows that the elements would have to be really spectacular in order to do that. It has got to live up to the legacy that we left. They both lasted for eight years, so you need to do that justice. I think none of us are opposed to it in either elements, but everything has to be perfect for it to even be considered.”
When she says “everyone,” it sounds like she’s implying everyone, including Shannen Doherty, who left the series after the third season. Alyssa once said she and Shanned had “rough days” on set, but maybe time has healed their wounds. Shannen’s character, Prue Halliwell, died in the series, but it’s Charmed — she could totally come back as a ghost.
