“We were at the airport, the car was running, the radio was on, the air conditioning was on, our family kind of came to see us off,” Carey revealed to Chicago’s US 99.5 radio station. “As you do, you get out of the front seat and you shut the door so you can turn around, so you can get your luggage out.”
She went on to say that her dogs, Ace and Penny managed to lock themselves, her stuff and poor little Isaiah in the car. “Immediately, one of the dogs jumped up on the little control panel on the door, and I heard the thing click. I was like, ‘The doors locked, the doors locked, the doors locked!'”
“We were trying to jimmy open the car door. Nobody had a hanger. I was trying to get the dogs to come back over and do the same thing and unlock the door.” She said that finally her brother-in-law stepped up and broke the window.
Thankfully, everything turned out okay, but obviously it left her was pretty shaken up. She took to Twitter to share the scary incident.
Carrie’s scary car incident came one day after she celebrated her five-year wedding anniversary to NHL player Mike Fisher, 35. Talk about a ruff celebration.
