As parents you try to instill the importance of reading at a young age. Well, it worked so well for these two parents, that their baby just can’t emotionally handle it when a book ends. Click to watch!

He’s known as the “saddest little bookworm” and he is here to break your heart. Emmett Stevers, is only 10-months-old, and has become a viral sensation after his parents shared the most adorable video of him on YouTube. The reason? He has a meltdown every time his book comes to an end.

While most parents struggle to get their children to read, Alicia Stevers has the opposite challenge. Her sweet little boy Emmett loves books so much — he literally doesn’t want them to end. Also, we have to point out his shirt — “The Snuggle Is Real”! Seriously, no words — so perfect!

Alicia shared a video of her baby sitting up straight and enjoying a good book. Now here comes the sad part. Every time she finishes reading to him, he breaks down and cries uncontrollably.

No, he isn’t reading “The Fault In Our Stars,” he just really, really loves books. “Books have been making him cry for about a month now,” his mom told ABC News. “We don’t really know why he cries, but it seems that he just genuinely doesn’t want to be done reading.”

We can’t handle how adorable this is. Alicia went on to add, “We don’t let him play with any screens or tablets, or watch TV or anything like that and are more minimalist with toys. We’re trying to instill a love of reading and simplicity. He has books all over the house and never gets tired of them.”

Mission accomplished!
