Miley for president? Miley Cyrus will host the premiere episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’– but will she use the platform to announce her presidential candidacy? We have EXCLUSIVE details!
Twerking for all! Miley Cyrus, 22, is set to host the 41st season premiere of Saturday Night Live on Oct. 3, pulling double duty as musical guest as well. We can’t be sure what crazy antics Ms. Cyrus will have up her sleeve when she hits the stage live at Studio 8H, however, HollywoodLife has learned EXCLUSIVELY that Miley just might make a massive (presidential) announcement!
“Every idea is being brought up right now and cast members and writers can’t wait to pitch Miley when she comes in for her week before her SNL duties take place,” a source revealed to us EXCLUSIVELY. “One of the few ideas that are being figured out is to have a political segment that involves Kanye, President Obama, Deez Nutz, Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton, who Miley would play, making fun of what is happening in the political world right now.”
However, the political satire will not stop there. In fact, Miley herself may take a cue from Kanye, and announce her presidential candidacy! “Some writers also want to bring up the idea for Miley to say she is going to run for President herself during her monologue,” the source added. “The cast and crew love Miley because she is down for anything and it’s going to be a great show. They are really looking forward to it.”
Well, with promise like that, it’s safe to say we’re all really looking forward to it. And ya know what? A West/Cyrus ticket doesn’t sound any more ridiculous than a Trump 2016 ticket sounded a few months ago. Just saying.
Are you excited for Miley to host Saturday Night Live? Would you be down with Miley for president?
