“Louis doesn’t want to hear about the rumors that he’s not the real father of Briana’s baby. He thinks that is crazy,” a source close to the star told HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He believes with all his heart he is the father. He has accepted it and is truly excited to raise him.”
Louis knows exactly how important it is for him to step up and be there for his child, as he himself grew up without the support of his own biological father. Thankfully, he did have his step-father, Mark, to show him what it means to be a great dad.
“Louis’ biological father wasn’t there for him all his life so he has pledged that he will be a better father,” our sourced added. “He wants to be as good of a father as his incredible stepfather Mark. Mark was everything a father should be and more and Louis is eternally grateful. If he can be half as good Mark he will have done a good job. He really wants to be there for his child and for Briana. He wants to be the words best dad!”

Louis To Focus On Becoming A Father During One Direction Break
Meanwhile, with One Direction’s inevitable hiatus now on the horizon, Louis is planning on spending time with Briana and the baby. “While he’s away from the spotlight, Louis wants to focus on being a dad,” a source previously told HollywoodLife.com. “He will put all career plans on hold for now to concentrate on raising his child with Briana.” That’s very sweet of him! Louis has been working hard on his music career for the past five years. Taking a break to be a father and care for his child would definitely be a good use of his time.
