Nicki Minaj & Miley Cyrus: Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Explains Their Fight With Emojis

A LOT went down at the VMAs on Aug. 30, and Jimmy Kimmel recalled one of the night’s most important moments during his show the next night! Watch him explain Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus’ feud right here!

Leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to poke fun at someone else’s fight! Nicki Minaj, 32, and Miley Cyrus, 22, went to war at the 2015 Video Music Awards, and the comedian joked about what went down with the help of emojis during his talk show on Aug. 31. Watch here!

Beginning with an interview in which Miley called Nicki “not too kind” and “not very polite,” the talk show host rehashed all the drama while standing in front of a large screen, which flashed series’ of emojis to pertain to each part of the story. He even ended his speech by referencing Kanye West’s announcement that he’s running for President, and concluded that now the world will end.

After hearing what the “Wrecking Ball” singer said about her in the media, Nicki — whose album you can buy here — used the VMAs to fire back. While accepting the award for Best Hip-Hop video, she tossed back to Miley in a, well, not very polite way! “Now, back to this b—-, that had a LOT to say about me the other day in the press,” she said. “Miley. WHAT’S GOOD?” As the 22-year-old tried to keep her cool (“We all do interviews and know how they manipulate s–t,” she responded), cameras cut back to the angry rapper, who was making hand gestures and mouthing profanities.

Now that the show is behind us, the major debate going on is whether or not the fight was real…or just set up to make better television. “Nicki was livid with Miley and decided to air her feelings onstage,” Us Weekly reported. “The anger was very real and not a pre-planned bit at all.” However, the unedited footage appears to show that Miley seemed to be just waiting for the 32-year-old’s slam, and was smiling as she prepared to give her sassy response.

HollywoodLifers, what did you think of Jimmy’s explanation? Do you think the feud was real?
