So shocking. Former WWF superstar Jimmy Snuka will allegedly be charged with murdering his girlfriend, who died 32 years ago, a new report claims. The 72-year-old, who was arrested on Sept. 1, will reportedly be charged with third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.
Former WWF superstar Jimmy Snuka, who’s also known as “Superfly,” will allegedly be charged with murdering his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino, in an incident that happened 32 years ago, a new report claims. Jimmy is believed to have killed Nancy following a heated argument in a motel in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1983.
The 72-year-old, who is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, will allegedly be charged with third degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, TMZ claims.
An autopsy report, recently obtained by The Morning Call, claims Nancy “suffered multiple cuts and contusions on her entire body,” according to TMZ. The autopsy also says Nancy “died of traumatic brain injuries consistent with a moving head striking a stationary object.”
Nancy died 32 years ago, so it seems odd for the investigation to be re-opened, but after pressure from Nancy’s family, investigators reportedly obliged. Jimmy was arrested at his New Jersey home on Sept. 1 and taken into custody. He was booked, and his bail was set at $100,000, but according to TMZ, he posted bail.
Nancy’s sister, Louise Argentino-Upham, said it’s a relief that Jimmy will be charged, especially because her mom turns 90 this year and she may actually get to see justice served before dying. “I think that it’s been a long road,” she told The Morning Call. “They did the right thing in face of all the evidence.”
“WWE expresses its continued sympathy to the Argentino family for their loss. Ultimately this legal matter will be decided by our judicial system,” the WWE told HollywoodLife.com in a statement, following Jimmy’s arrest.
