Andy Samberg Believes Bryan Cranston Will Streak At The Emmys — Watch New Promo

With the Emmys getting closer and closer, people are holding their breath for who’s going to win on the big night. Emmys host Andy Samberg is drumming up excitement for the show, and mentioned something very interesting…

Andy Samberg, 37, is all set to host the Emmys on September 20, and has been rolling out the promo videos nonstop to pump up the excitement for the awards show. His latest spot suggests some hashtags to use on the big night, and while they’re all hilarious, one stands out the most: #CranstonStreaks. Does Andy know something we don’t?

Bryan Cranston, 59, is a beloved actor, especially after his fantastic turn as Walter White in Breaking Bad. Bryan won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014; #CranstonStreaks is suggesting that Bryan would take home that statuette for the third time in a row. One detail: Bryan isn’t nominated in any category this year. What’s going on here, Andy?

Now let’s see. There’s a couple theories we’ve worked out to explain Andy’s hashtag choice, which accompanies #schwagbag, #trashbag and #freepizza(no), among others. So funny! The Brooklyn Nine-Nine and former SNL star could just be joking about Bryan winning the award again to throw people off in his promo. That would be really mean, though.

Another scenario: Andy thinks that Bryan’s going to pull a Walter White and run around the auditorium in a pair of tighty-whiteys, giving everyone an eyeful! It’s not totally unrealistic; last time around, Bryan did make out with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, if you recall. God, we can’t wait to see if this happens!

Andy Samberg Drops ‘Dirty’ Words In First Emmys Promo

This isn’t the first Emmys video spot that Andy’s filmed, and it probably won’t be the last before the show! His hilarious, cute promo discussed all of the dirty words he won’t be allowed to say during the broadcast, and how he discovered a few substitutions to get around the sensors. His seven “dirty” words: corkscrew, kumquat, shuttlecock, dictaphone, annal, shan’t and butt. Scandalous, Andy!

Now pair that with a possible nearly-naked Bryan, and we’re definitely in for an interesting Emmys night. HollywoodLifers, what do you think #CranstonStreaks means? Tell us in the comments and take our poll!
