It’s down to only 11 acts on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ which means we are SO close to finding out this season’s winner! Each semi-finalist took the stage on September 1 to prove they deserve a spot in the finals!
Only 5 acts will make it to next week’s finals, and boy did the pool of talent kick things up a notch on Sept. 1 to prove they have what it takes to become the America’s Got Talent champion! From mind readers, to comedians, season 10 has got to be the best yet — we have the full recap on each of the 11 acts that performed in the semi-finals!
Ira and his mom, the comedic puppet duo, hit the stage first. Howard Stern was not amused with their act, he said “I think it’s over,” to them — ouch! Mountain Faith Band was next up and they put a unique bluegrass twist on The Weeknd‘s popular jam “Can’t Feel My Face.” The crowd was totally feelin’ it! They were clapping and cheering the whole time.
BMX team Metal Mulisha showed off their extreme skills while their leather jackets lit on fire (on purpose, don’t worry). Singer Samantha Johnson sang The Weeknd’s “Earned It” and the judges were blown away! Magician Derek Hughes took the stage next and blew everyone away with another amazing trick that left us all stunned!
Comedian Drew Lynch was up next and he was SO funny! We even got a little emotional towards the end seeing how many people loved his act and how happy it made him.The CraigLewis Band sang their hearts out next and they delivered an extremely entertaining performance! Mentalist Oz Pearlman read the minds of the judges and the they were speechless — how does he do it!?
Singer Benton Blount sang “Fight Song” next and we loved every second! Siro-A, the light/dance artist group, took the stage next and gave yet another awesome and visually stunning show! Opera singer Arielle Baril was the final contestant to show off her talent during the semi-finals and she did just that — can you believe she’s only 12?!
