Season two of ‘The Royals’ is still a few months away, but HollywoodLife.com has an EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming season and more with the now-King Cyrus. Get excited! Click to WATCH!
The Royals is one of TV’s guiltiest pleasures. From Prince Liam and Princess Eleanor’s drama to Cyrus’ devilish ways, it was a roller coaster of a first season. HollywoodLife.com has gotten an EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes interview with the show’s Jake Maskall, who plays Cyrus, about his favorite scenes to film, season two scoop and more!
We have so many questions, and Jake is here to answer them! Let’s start with season two. Jake teases that we will see a “more vulnerable side to Cyrus” in season two. “We saw in season one that one scene with his mother, and this is a continuation of that.” It sounds like we have more to learn about Cyrus!
Jake admits that if there was one actor he would have guest star on The Royals, it would definitely be Chris Pratt. Honestly, we would love that.
Jake also reveals that his favorite scene to shoot in season one was when Cyrus waltzed in and told Liam and Eleanor that they were illegitimate. This meant that Liam couldn’t take his father’s place as King, leaving the title to King Simon’s brother, Cyrus. Oh, and he loved when Cyrus got slapped by the Queen.
Elizabeth Hurley is a “dream cast member,” according to Jake. Aw! The Queen and Cyrus don’t always see eye-to-eye but every scene they’re in together is sensational!
