Not only did Miley Cyrus surprise her fans by releasing a new album for free, following the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, but she shocked them (and us) with her profanity-filled lyrics. Seriously — there are at least 35 ‘f***s’ in just one song.
Miley Cyrus, 22, pulled a Beyonce and released a brand new album for free, following the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30. We’ve listened to a majority of Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz and it’s definitely innovative. But the songs are also full of a ton of curse words.

Miley’s new album, which consists of 23 songs, starts with “Dooo It!,” which she performed with The Flaming Lips at the awards show on Sunday evening. The song is pretty wild, and the word “f***” is included in the lyrics 35 times. And after that, things just get more and more vulgar. For instance, one of Miley’s songs is titled “F***in F***ed Up.”
The songs are completely different from anything Miley has ever done before, but we’re assuming that’s what she wanted. It’s no secret that Miley loves to color outside the lines, and she achieves that and more with this new album.
Plus, we love that Miley released the album for free, which she said she would be doing. Miley’s manager, Adam Leber, told Marie Claire, “Miley’s not driven by dollars. She makes her own path. Once upon a time, that’s what most artists did. Now, people like Miley are few and far between.”
