Bieber is back– and he’s better than ever! Justin Bieber performed on the VMAs, his first time doing so in five years, and not only was the performance amazing (and totally live!) but Justin got so emotional, he broke down in tears! OMG our hearts!
We have waited, and waited, and died, and waited. Finally, during the Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, Justin Bieber, 21, performed and it was seriously emotional! He started off the killer performance with “Where Are Ü Now” followed by his brand new song, “What Do You Mean?” And then Justin literally levitated above the crowd! He flipped and soared before coming back to the ground to thank the audience and slouch over in tears. Such a gorgeous moment! This was clearly a very emotional experience for Justin– and for the audience. Okay, and for us. Throughout the entire performance, Justin’s dancing was on point as ever, whipping out the most incredible moves. In fact, he was pushing himself so hard, physically, that at one or two points, you could hear that he was out of breath, which definitely proves he was singing 100% live, no lip synching whatsoever.
The performance basically just proves what we already knew: Justin is back, he’s better than ever and he is totally here to stay. We can’t wait to see what else the talented guy has in store for us.
Though it was totally worth the wait for this performance, we’re not gonna lie, the anticipation has been slightly killing us! Justin himself confirmed the news that he would be performing on the VMAs via an Instagram post on Aug. 26. JB posted a topless photo of host Miley Cyrus (with her boobies covered by two photos of Justin’s face) on a rainbow background with the words “Justin Bieber on the VMAs” written next to her. Bieber captioned the pic “Only @mileycyrus. Lol. It’s true. I’m performing on the #vmas!! #bieberisback :)”
What did you guys think of Justin’s huge performance, HollywoodLifers? Did you love it, or has he lost his touch?
