Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are fed up with being called names. Before the VMAs, the two hit the red carpet, wearing some of the words they’ve been called including ‘bitch’ and ‘whore’!
Wow, this is how you make a statement. At the Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, Amber Rose, 31, and Blac Chyna, 27, decided to show the haters exactly what they thought of them by wearing insults! Seriously, both women rocked outfits with painted on words including (but not limited to) “gold digger,” “stripper,” “slut” and pretty much every other derogatory term you can think of– usually directed at women. Take that, haters.
Amber Rose wore the powerful statements by means of a beige jumpsuit. She completed the look with black slingbacks and dark black shades.
Blac Chyna, meanwhile, opted for a more traditional silhouette, wearing a floor length gown which showed off her insanely perfect cleavage. She topped off the look with sleek and straight hair.
However, obviously looking at these two, it’s not exactly the shape of their dresses, or the height of their heels that people are going to be talking about. These women were obviously fed up with how they have been treated by the media as well as those in their personal lives, and we have to admit, this is a very effective way to fire back. Maybe if people can see the words they say, they might be more hesitant to say them, no?
Additionally, these two have been pretty much attached at the hip lately as they reportedly get ready for their reality show. We have to wonder if these risky outfits will be featured on the series, as well as which bold lady had this idea.
What do you guys think of the statement-making outfits? Do you think it was a feminist statement, or were the women just trying to get attention by being crass?
