This week’s ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ started off where it left off — with more Joe/Samantha dramz. She started off by telling Joe that she really liked him, and she wouldn’t go on the date with Justin.
Here we go again! Within the first five minutes of Bachelor In Paradise, Samantha called off her date with Justin, leading him to ask out Dan‘s new love interest, Amber. She figured she could explore that, and if Dan really was interested, it would make him jealous and bring them closer. Yes, that sounds like a great idea!
While initially, Amber accepted the date to make Dan jealous, she got really into the sexy salsa dancing, and even took off Justin’s shirt (sunblock, dude!)… then they made out. Then they went into the water and made out some more. Then she cried with confusion. Wait, what?
Following the date, she realized it was Dan she wanted, so she told him that it was him she was thinking about. Unfortunately, the feeling wasn’t mutual and he was upfront about it. He told her that when she walked away with Justin, he didn’t feel sad or bummed about it — but he didn’t feel the connection want to “pull a Joe” and lead her on just to get a rose.
Hey Chris, Bye Chris
A newcomer also arrived this week: everyone’s favorite, way too familiar face, Chris Bukowski — even Chris Harrison said, “fifth time’s the charm.” However, he spent the whole day getting wasted and then drunkenly asked Tenley on a date — who said no. But she was really nice about it! However, her man, Joshua told Chris if he wasn’t going to use it, could he? So, he did — and he took Tenley on it. Awkwarddddd. So Joshua and Tenley got their romance on with a celebrity chef, followed by a carriage ride. It was quite romantic, and there was aphrodisiac cheese involved.
Letters & Love At First Sight At The Cocktail Hour
After their awkward conversation last week, Ashley I. decided to write Jared this really long letter – front and back about how she felt. We have to say, we can imagine this was his reaction after reading it:
Anyway, after reading the letter, Amber then pulled Jared aside and said she would like to get to know him too. Ugh this show! I seriously need to create a diagram of everyone liking who. To mix that up, just when we thought the Samantha drama was over, Dan came out and said he was actually interested in her. So he pulled her aside, she said it was love at first sight with Joe (WHAT?!), and she was confused when Dan tried telling her how bad of a person Joe was.
Joe freaked out and interrupted them, to tell her something important — actually, just to tell her she looked beautiful and kiss her. If it was anyone else or at any other moment, it would be adorable — but it was clearly just to show that she was his. Anyways, Dan continued and told her that Joe’s the kind of guy who would freak out the minute she went out with her girlfriends at home and her phone died. We can definitely see that. So, who got the roses?
Rose Ceremony Brings A Shocker
Carly -> Kirk
Jade -> Tanner
Tenley -> Joshua
Juelia -> Mikey
Ashley S. -> Nick
Ashley I. -> Jared
Amber -> Justin
Samantha -> Dan
Wait What?! Apparently love at first sight wasn’t that strong, huh? Just one conversation changed that? Anyway, Joe obviously wasn’t happy and totally went off on Samantha, who played the victim car. When Joe got in the car, he finished his beer and said if he ever saw Dan in public, “there would be a confrontation.” He also pulled out his phone (did the driver have it?) to show the texts he had.
Meanwhile, Samantha tried to explain herself to the house and literally everyone told her they knew it was fake — Ashley S. even asked if she had talked to Dan, too. She said no obviously, before leaving and crying, but the house pretty much agreed that the new villain card actually belonged to Samantha, not Joe. And DAN came to her rescue. Oh Dan, you’re much too good for all of this.
At the last minute, Chelsea from Juan Pablo‘s season showed up, and Carly talked to her, kind of pushing for her to ask out Dan. Yes, yes, yes. Until next time, HollywoodLifers?
