Now that Kanye West has announced his plans to run for President in 2020, Aubrey O’Day is VERY concerned about the future of our country. From her seat in the VMAs audience, she immediately took to Instagram to share her disapproval, calling out Yeezy and Donald Trump.
Aubrey O’Day was just as confused as the rest of us when Kanye West, 38, announced he’ll be running for President in 2020 at the Video Music Awards on Aug. 30. But her confusion quickly turned to concern, and she voiced her discontented opinion on the rapper on social media afterward.
While accepting the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs, Yeezy closed his long-winded speech by telling the crowd he wants to run for president in the 2020 election! The audience went nuts, but Aubrey wasn’t about the theatrics. She took to Instagram and slammed Kim Kardashian’s hubby and current candidate Donald Trump, saying they make her worried about the future of the U.S.
“Kanye or trump…man the presidency isn’t what it used to be,” she captioned an Instagram video of Kanye’s speech. In a second post, she added, but quickly deleted, “Trump now. Kanye later? What’s happening to US politics? sad state of affairs. spectacles with no rhyme reason or point.”
Interestingly, the former Danity Kane singer spent time in the audience with Amber Rose, who once dated Kanye and has been known to diss him and the Kardashians publicly. Blac Chyna, who has a child with Tyga, Kylie Jenner’s current boyfriend, was also with the group in the audience. Well, it’s probably safe to say there was a LOT of trash talking going on in THAT group during Kanye’s big moment!
