The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards are bound to be epic, but they’ll also be super awkward. With feuding stars Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and more attending the Aug. 30 show, there’s potential for some really uncomfortable run-ins.
A lot of stars, including those who just don’t like each other, will come together for the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, so things could get pretty awkward rather quickly. Could you imagine if Justin Bieber, 21, and Taylor Swift, 25, ran into each other? It’s no secret that T-Swizzle hasn’t been a fan of the Biebs for quite some time. And they’re sitting right near each other during the show, as HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY learned, so there’s a good chance they’ll at least make eye contact. They’re also not the only ones who may have an awkward run-in. Find out who else you should keep an eye out for!
And Miley Cyrus, who is hosting the show, just dissed Nicki Minaj in an interview with The New York Times, saying she was selfish for complaining about not getting nominated in the Video Of The Year category. If you recall, Taylor thought Nicki dissed her when she said only skinny white girls were nominated — Taylor is the only female to be nominated for Video Of The Year, so she assumed it was a dig directed at her. Nicki later denied this claim, saying she was just highlighting how race seems to be a factor when it comes to nominations. Plus, Miley recently dissed Taylor, when she said her “Bad Blood” video gives off the impression that it’s okay for women to attack each other. If all three of them ran into each other, the roof would probably blow off the place.
Furthermore, let’s not forget about the awkward love triangle involving Kylie Jenner, Tyga and Blac Chyna. They’ll all be attending the show, so that’s another uncomfortable situation to look out for.
No matter what happens, the VMAs are definitely going to be an interesting show. What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Which potential run-in would be the most awkward? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
