Everyone get ready, because we have some seriously exciting news. Dylan’s Candy Bar and Paramount Pictures have teamed up to give us all a special gift — a ‘Mean Girls’ collection featuring all things from the movie. Are you as excited as we are?
This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Our fave candy store, Dylan’s Candy Bar, and our fave movie ever, Mean Girls, have come together with Paramount Pictures, to create something magical. This September, the store will launch the collaboration, and everything will be right in this world.
It gets better. The collection is inspired by the outlandish quotes from the film (that we say almost every day!), and it features “Burn Book” cookies, “You Go Glen Coco” hot cocoa, “Is Butter a Carb?” buttered popcorn flavored jelly beans, and “Kalteen” chocolate bars, (no they won’t make you gain as much weight as Regina!). The line also features adorable fashion accessories such as “Get in Loser, We’re Going Shopping” tote and “Her Hair is So Big Because It’s Full of Secrets” hair ties. The best part is — all of the items will be between the range of $3.25 and $32.00 — that is amazing!
All Dylan’s Candy Bar stores will be hosting celebratory launch events for “National Mean Girls Day” on October 3rd, (obv!), and guests are expected to wear pink.
Dylan Lauren, founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar, said in a statement, “There is a reason a movie like Mean Girls is such a hit! The witty dialogue, the authenticity, girl empowerment and friendship… these things are timeless. I can’t wait to share the collection and relive some of the hilarious pop culture references that were inspired by the movie. So fetch!”
LeeAnne Stables, President of Worldwide Marketing Partnerships & Licensing at Paramount Pictures, also gushed about this collab, “Dylan’s has done an amazing job bringing to life the iconic quotes and themes of ‘Mean Girls’ in this playful candy line celebrating the film. The collection is fun and inventive and a perfect way for us to keep this classic movie top of mind with fans young and old.”
We cannot control our excitement — can you?
