The death of Toby Sheldon has devastated all who knew the famous Justin Bieber look-alike. Venus D’Lite, Toby’s friend and fellow ‘Botched’ star, shared her grief over the loss, remembering him as a ‘warm hearted’ and ‘gentle person.’
How sad. Toby Sheldon, the 35-year-old man spent $100,000 on plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber, was found dead in a motel room in California. Toby, who appeared on E!’s Botched, was beloved by fans and friends — including Madonna impersonator, Venus D’Lite. Venus, 31, finally found the words to mourn her late friend, and she did so while calling out all his haters!
Toby’s body was discovered in a San Fernando Valley Motel 6 on Aug. 21, after he had been missing for three days. Toby’s death prompted an outpouring of sadness from his admirers, including Venus. Like Toby, Venus (a drag queen whose real name is Adam Guerra) appeared on both Botched and TLC’s My Strange Addiction. Venus spent over $175,000 on plastic surgery to look like the Material Girl, reports Daily Mail. Venus remembered Toby in an Aug. 27 Instagram post, saying his death left her “heartbroken.”
“I’m really saddened and devastated hearing the news of the loss of my friend and fellow #plastic,” said Venus, mentioning their music group, The Plastics. The Plastics — which featured Toby, Venus and Kitty Jay — released a song in 2014. “My prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family in Germany.” Venus remembered Toby as “a warm hearted, gentle person,” and said she always looked forward to working with him. She revealed that they had some “major projects coming up” and was sad that she wouldn’t ever see him again.
Venus also slammed Toby’s haters and the heartless online comments some Internet users have made over his death. Venus was “extremely sickened” and “appalled” by some of the things she read on social media. To anyone who said Toby didn’t look like Justin, Venus said, “I’d like to burst the bubble of the haters and tell them that he already knew that! He would joke about it all the time!” Venus then let her anger fly!
I'm really saddened and devastated hearing the news of the loss of my friend and fellow #plastic Toby Sheldon. My prayers and deepest condolences go out to his family in Germany. I did not see this coming from such a warm hearted, gentle person. I always looked foward to our moments together and working with him was always memorable due to his postive, fun, vibrant, charismatic presence. We had some major projects coming up and I was really looking forward to our future collaborations. I am very surprised to hear the fact that he was Gay and had a boyfriend. In this day and age I don't know why he kept it a secret from everyone. I'm hoping the breakup with his boyfriend didn't lead him to his death. I'M EXTREMELY SICKENED, DISGUSTED, APPALLED BY THE COMMENTS THAT I HAVE READ ON SOCIAL MEDIA ABOUT THE LOSS OF MY FRIEND. Most comments are expressing how "HE DID NOT LOOK LIKE JUSTIN BEIBER. Id like to burst the bubble of the haters and tell them that "HE ALREADY KNEW THAT"!! HE WOULD JOKE ABOUT IT ALL THE TIME. He knew he couldn't look exactly like Justin Beiber, he just admired his youthful IMAGE. The issue here is not what he looked like, but the loss of a very kind human being who was probably going through a very hard time and felt very depressed about the loss of his boyfriend. Have some EMPATHY. If you don't know what it means GOOGLE IT! We have all been through heartbreak, breakups, and the depression that comes with it and the feelings of just ending everything. Ive been there. If you are depressed talk to somebody. Don't be afraid to reach out, you might be surprised just how much support you have out there. And remember, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! And the tone of the type of word vomit that is coming out of the haters mouths, you guys don't even look like Justin Bieber nor do you even look like human beings. YOU LOOK LIKE MONSTERS!! # heartbroken #disgusted

She wrapped up her message by pointing out that the issue of Toby’s death was “not what he looked like, but the loss of a very kind human being who was probably going through a very hard time.” She hoped that Toby’s break-up didn’t lead to his death, and ended the message by telling her fans to “reach out” if they were feeling depressed or needed some kind of help.
Our thoughts continue to go out to Toby’s family, his friends and his fans during their time of loss.
