Is Nick Carter already a shoe in? Well, he does have a lot of experience on stage, and now HollywoodLife.com has learned he’s actually a front-runner for season 21 of ‘Dancing with the Stars!’
We told you that Nick Carter was heading to Dancing with the Stars season 21, and let’s be honest, we know the 35-year-old Backstreet Boy can dance. We’ve all seen the “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” music video. So, it’s not a surprise that insiders are already thinking he’s heading fro the Mirror Ball.
“I’m excited,” Nick told Us Weekly about joining the show. He also added got advice from N’Sync’s Joey Fatone, who danced on seasons four and 15. “He talks about it all the time and I was really debating if I wanted to do it, and he said, ‘It’s a great experience, it keeps you in shape and it’ll teach you a lot of stuff.’ He said, ‘You’ll get what you put into it.’ And I’m a hard worker, so I think it’ll be fun.”
As for his brother’s experience, he admits they’re pretty competitive. “I think there’s a little something inside of me that says, ‘Okay, I’m going to go there and represent the Carter name and do even better than what he did!'”
I thought Nick had a pretty good chance, even though he “never considered myself a great dancer!” However, I’ve seen BSB enough times in concert to know that is not true. We can’t wait for this season to start with so many other talented dancers. Are you excited, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Nick will be good? Let us know.
