Is Lea Michele ready to head on over to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital? The ‘Scream Queens’ star revealed in an interview with ‘Flare’ magazine that she’s just waiting for creator Shonda Rhimes to call so she can get on the show! Make it happen, Shonda!
Lea Michele, 28, really wants to go to Shondaland. The Scream Queens and Glee star has now made it known that she wants to be on Grey’s Anatomy. In her interview with Flare magazine, Lea said she’s ready to put on some scrubs and have a role alongside Meredith Grey and the rest of the docs on the hit medical drama.
Lea is a busy girl, but she’d be more than happy to make time for a role on Grey’s Anatomy. It’s one of her wishes to be on the show that’s part of the TGIT line-up. She’s just waiting for a sign from creator Shonda Rhimes. “Shonda, call. Like, what the hell?” she told the magazine. “I’m ready. Put me in scrubs. I’d love a little arc. Just a little arc.”
OMG! This needs to happen. We could totally see Lea playing a patient or a sassy new intern that could go toe-to-toe with Meredith. Lea’s mom was also a nurse, so she could easily pick her brain about all the medical lingo!
Lea’s had a pretty incredible year, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for her. She said goodbye to the role of Rachel Berry on Glee in March 2015 after six seasons. Soon after the show ended, she landed a role on Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens, alongside Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Lea’s role on the show is a far cry from Rachel Berry. She plays the neck brace-wearing Hester, one of the new pledges at the KKT sorority. Scream Queens premieres Sept. 22, 2015 on FOX.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Lea would make a good addition to Grey’s Anatomy? Let us know!
