Amy Schumer, 34, totally slayed at a recent Talib Kweli concert in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday night, Aug. 25. Not only did she join the rapper on stage, but when he asked her to join him in a performance of Kanye West‘s “Get ‘Em High” she laid it down without hesitation. You go girl!
Who knew? Not only is she a hilarious comedienne and a great actress, but Amy Schumer is also a skilled rapper. Yes, really! Joining rapper Talib Kweli on stage, Amy jumped in to rap the end of the second verse of Kanye’s “Get ‘Em High” — a track that also features Talib. Amazing!
In the video, which you can watch below, Amy can be seen dancing as Talib performs. Then, just before she kicks off her half of the verse, she pulls the mic off of the stand and joins Talib in the center of the stage. It’s almost as if she’s done this before! Watch below:
Amy was so proud of her performance, she shared the video on her own Instagram page. She even captioned the photo with some of the lyrics: “You mean Talib Lyrics stick to your rib.” Check out the actual lyrics to the verse she rhymed below:
You mean Talib? Lyrics sticks to your rib
I mean, that’s my favorite CD that I play at my crib
I mean, You don’t really know him, why is you lyin’
Yo Kwe, she don’t believe me, please pick up the line
She gon’ think that I’m lyin’, just spit a couple of lines
Then maybe I’ll be able to give her dick all the time
And get her high
