Khloe Kardashian is breaking out the dark lip colors for fall a little early. The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star was out running errands on August 24 with a bold purple lipstick look that can’t be ignored. Learn how you can give the daring shade a try, too!

If Khloe Kardashian was trying to fly under the radar while leaving Urth Caffé in Los Angeles, she may want to pick a different lipstick shade. The 31-year-old gave her casual workout gear a high-fashion twist with a vampy dark purple lipstick. Let us know what you think of her gothic-glam lip look, and find out how you can give it a go.

Perhaps taking a page out of younger sister Kylie Jenner’s beauty book, or maybe following Rihanna and supermodel Joan Smalls’ lead, Khloe was the latest celebrity to try an unexpected dark lipstick. But while Kylie recently went with a brown shade, Khloe’s purple hue was a little less severe thanks to the blue undertones.

To try the purple shade for yourself, Estée Lauder just introduced a Pure Color Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick collection with supermodel, spokesmodel and queen of the purple lip look Joan Smalls (remember when she shut down the beauty competition at the 2014 MET Gala with her violet shade?). If you want to go full-on vampy like Khloe, try the matte lipstick in Extrovert. Or, for a more vibrant shade like Joan’s, use Shameless Violet.

Khloe Kardashian’s Purple Lipstick — Hot To Copy Her Bold Beauty Look

Proving that lipstick can instantly make any look cooler, Khloe kept things super casual in workout gear, and her hair was simply parted and pulled back in a low knot. And while her sunglasses kept us from getting a glimpse at her eye makeup, we recommend you at least curl your lashes and add mascara so the dark lipstick doesn’t make your eyes look smaller.

What do you think of Khloe’s purple lips? Would you give the bold color trend a try, or are you leaving this to the celebs?
