So shocking. Derrick Rose, who plays professional basketball for the Chicago Bulls, is allegedly being sued by his ex-girlfriend, who claims he and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her, according to a new report. Find out all the horrific details here.
An unidentified woman, who claims she dated Chicago Bulls player Derrick Rose, 26, between 2011 and 2013, is allegedly suing the NBA star, a new report claims. The woman, only identified as Jane Doe at this point, has accused Derrick and his two friends of drugging and raping her.
Derrick’s alleged ex-girlfriend claims he once tried “pressuring her to masturbate in front of him, allow him to have sex with her friends, and engage in group sex with strangers,” according to TMZ. But she refused to do all of these things. Despite these alleged actions, Derrick’s accuser says she continued to date him until August 2013, when he and two friends, identified as Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton (Derrick’s personal manager), invited her to the basketball player’s Beverly Hills, California house. And that’s when she claims they drugged her with the intent of raping her.
The accuser claims she escaped the house, but the three men allegedly broke into her apartment later that night, and gang raped her while she was “incapacitated,” TMZ further states. She claims to remember only “flashes” of the incident, but can definitely remember them raping her.
So why did she wait so long to file the suit? Apparently, she was “ashamed and embarrassed” of what happened. She also didn’t want her conservative family to find out, according to the report.
Derrick is the youngest MVP winner in NBA history. Since the report surfaced, fans of Derrick’s have taken to Twitter to defend the star.
