Tv reporter Alison Parker’s heartbroken boyfriend, Chris Hurst, has taken to Twitter to share his grief for the beautiful woman, who just celebrated her 24th birthday with him.
It’s unimaginable what Chris Hurst is going through after finding out that his girlfriend, Alison Parker, 24, and her cameraman, Adam Ward, 26, were brutally murdered the morning of August 26 while reporting for their station in Virginia. Chris, an anchorman at the WDBJ7, where Alison and Adam both worked, tweeted his sorrow to the world following Alison’s death, and shared admiration for the woman he loved.
The pain that Chris is experiencing, so soon after the death of his girlfriend, is unbearable. Chris and Alison had been dating for nine months, and hadn’t yet shared their relationship publicly. They were madly in love, and looking forward to a future together. Chris’ tweets were a testament to his devotion and passion for his late girlfriend.
It’s so clear that Chris loved Alison with all his heart. This situation is just so horrific. We should reiterate that he penned these tweets just hours after learning that Alison had been murdered on live television while reporting. It’s an absolutely terrifying, and sickening incident; the fact that Chris was able to compose himself for this tribute to his love is amazing.
We hope that Chris can find healing during this dark time, and support from his loved ones and WDBJ7 team. Alison and Adam are gone, but will not be forgotten. HollywoodLifers, please help us send our condolences to Chris in this terrible time.
