Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27, died following an on-air shooting in Moneta, Virginia. Around 6:45 on the morning of Aug. 26, Alison was conducting an interview outdoors for local news station WDBJ, with Adam behind the camera filming. In the midst of the interview, a shooter approached, shooting Alison and Adam, killing them both. Adam’s camera caught the entire altercation on film.

Alison and Adam were shooting a piece at the Bridgewater Plaza near Moneta, interviewing Smith Mountain Lake Chamber Director, Vicki Gardner, when the attacker approached and began to fire. Vicki survived the shooting, and is undergoing surgery for her injuries.

A manhunt is currently underway for the gunman, who has yet to be identified to the public. He is believed to have been fired from the station six or seven times, according to CNN. This story is developing. Here are photos of the victims.
