‘Go back to Univision,’ Donald Trump told reporter Jorge Ramos from the Spanish-language network, while forcibly throwing him out of the rally he was hosting in Iowa on Aug. 26. Watch the shocking video here.
Donald Trump, 69, is stirring up controversy…again. While hosting a press conference at a rally in Iowa on Aug. 25, the GOP presidential candidate was not having it when Univision reporter Jorge Ramos repeatedly asked him a question. The business mogul becomes visibly angry with Jorge, not only booting him out of the press conference, but telling him to go back to Univision. Oh snap!
Apparently, Donald will only answer questions if you are called on. Jorge fires questions at Donald, but each time he refuses to answer the reporter’s questions. Donald forcibly tells Jorge to “sit down” while reminding him, “you weren’t called.” As Jorge continues to press him with questions, saying that he “has the right to ask a question” Donald tells him, “Go back to Univision!” Yikes. Jorge, who has accused Donald of “spreading hate” with his controversial immigration remarks, was then escorted out of the room per Donald’s request.
“You can’t just stand up and scream,” Donald told reporters after the incident, according to our sister site Variety. “He’s obviously a very emotional person. So I have no problem with it. Certainly, he was not [chosen]. He just stands up and starts screaming, so maybe he’s at fault.” Later, Jorge returned to the room, where he got into a heated confrontation with Donald about immigration.
While discussing the issue of deporting millions of people living in the country without documentation, Donald said, “I want to make it possible… I want the good people to come back, and I want them to get documentation so they become legal. It’s called management. You’re not used to good management because you are always talking about government. Government is incompetent, people like Bush are incompetent… They can’t do it. I’m a great manager.” He also told Jorge “I have a bigger heart than you do.”
