Amy, we already called dibs! Ben Higgins headed on ‘GMA’ on August 25 right after ABC announced he was the new ‘Bachelor’ and he admitted that he did have some hesitation before joining — and that he’d be okay with Amy Schumer coming out to try and win his rose!
After Amy Schumer came on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s season to help her pick a guy, then called in during After Paradise to ask Ben Higgins if he wanted to have phone sex, we’re totally not surprised that he would totally be open to having her on the show. But wait a minute, could they actually date? Well, Ben says…
“I would love for her to come on this season. I think we should push for it! She’d make everything extremely interesting,” Ben said on Good Morning America. “She’s hilarious and she’s been great for the show. If she wanted to come out, I would not be against it. I think she’s really funny.” He also said, yes he likes funny girls!
Well, we’d totally be open to see that! It sounds like Ben is actually taking this very seriously, and he didn’t really jump at the opportunity at first!
Ben Couldn’t Resist The Opportunity
“I think, just to be fair to myself, I wanted to take a couple days to process it through and make sure I thought of all the different pros and cons,” he said. “But when you really think about it, it’s a really good opportunity, and I think opportunities like this don’t happen to people like me! Like, last night was my first time in a first class lounge. I had no idea those things existed! I really want to take the opportunity to do this — you can’t pass up on it.”
He also added that he’s most afraid of “dating 25 people,” and admitted that there isn’t “any training for that.” More than anything though, he knows what he wants: communication and compassion.
“When two people are joining lives together, there just has to be a ton of communication between those people,” he said. Alright, is this guy perfect or is he perfect? Do you think Amy should join the season? Could they actually date? Let us know your thoughts!
