It turns out she also gave Rihanna the idea for her new nickname for Chris. “Rihanna doesn’t call Chris ‘Chris’ anymore,” a source EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com. “She’s nicknamed him ‘Daddy’ and that’s what she now calls him.”

Wow. While calling someone “Daddy” might have a little sex appeal behind it — remember “Big Poppa” by Biggie Smalls? — Rihanna’s nickname for Chris is more of a reminder that he needs to keep his focus on his baby girl. “She nicknamed him that to reinforce to him that [being a dad] is his number one responsibility,” the insider tells HollywoodLife.com. “She doesn’t want him to ever forget that or be distracted. He’s Daddy for life, now that he has a child.”
Well, Chris seems to be taking his “Daddy” role seriously. He was smiling from ear to ear when he reunited with Royalty on Aug. 22. Plus, Chris has said that Royalty will be the woman who “will teach [him] how to become a man.” But, in case Breezy feels like straying from his fatherly duties, Rihanna will be there to help him keep his head straight.
