Directioners were left with plenty of questions after hearing that 1D would be taking a ‘break’. Thankfully, HollywoodLife.com can EXCLUSIVELY reveal what sort of ‘solo’ projects the guys have their hearts set on… as well as whether or not this means they are over for good.
One Direction has reportedly decided to take some time off after releasing their fifth studio album, but does that mean that they are officially done? HollywoodLife.com spoke to multiple sources close to the group who revealed EXCLUSIVELY what’s really going on behind closed doors. Don’t worry, Directioners… it’s all GOOD news!
Alright, what’s really going on with 1D? When it was reported on Sunday, Aug. 23, that they would be taking a “break” from being One Direction after their current tour ended, fans totally freaked out. But, is it really as bad as it seems? Directioners, the truth about Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan may surprise you!
“It is not over, they just need a break. They have been non stop and don’t want to breakdown,” a source close to the group tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. And, “Bad blood is nowhere, they bonded even more after Zayn [Malik] left, they need some normalcy for the time being.” Okay, phew. That’s a relief!
Our sources also confirmed that One Direction would not be seeking out new agents, and that Simon Cowell is behind their decision to take a break 100%. In fact, he’s encouraging it! “He is supporting the decision so they have longevity and longevity equals more money,” our source explained.
As for what the boys hope to accomplish during their break from each other, solo albums are definitely NOT out of the question. “Definitely an option but nothing that will break them up. They want to focus on what their careers have given them and enjoy it by just relaxing and doing whatever makes them happy,” the source shared. Oh, and our source also shared that the guys are hoping to explore their options with TV and movie gigs! Can you even imagine? Swoon!
