Congratulations to Tracy Morgan and Megan Wollover! It’s official for the comedian and his long-time fiancée. The couple tied the knot and said their ‘I do’s’ in a beautiful and emotional wedding ceremony on the evening of Aug. 23.
After four years of being engaged, Tracy Morgan, 46, is finally a married man! The comedian tied the knot with his long-time fiancée Megan Wollover, 28, in an intimate wedding ceremony on Aug. 23. The couple’s daughter, family, and close friends were all in attendance on their big day.
A little over a year after the comedian almost lost his life in a horrific car accident in New Jersey, Tracy’s life is slowly getting back on track. “After almost losing Tracy last year, I am so grateful to finally be married to the love of my life,” Megan said in a statement to People, confirming their marriage. “We’ve been through so much and our love is stronger for it.” Tracy and Megan both exchanged emotional vows with each other in front of family and friends in an emotional ceremony.
Tracy’s marriage isn’t the only great thing happening in his life. The 46-year-old is slated to host an episode of Saturday Night Live when the show returns in the fall! Since the tragic accident that sadly killed Tracy’s longtime friend, James McNair, the comedian has been working hard on his recovery. These new milestones in his life show that Tracy’s strong-willed attitude to get better has paid off. However, his mindset wasn’t always like that. The 30 Rock star revealed things weren’t easy when he finally came out of his coma.
Tracy Revealed He Was ‘A Mess’ After Coming Out Of A Coma
In his first interview after the tragic incident, Tracy admitted he wasn’t himself after the scary event. “When I first came out of the coma, I was a mess,” the comedian told Matt Lauer. While Tracy was determined to get better, going back to work is not a priority. “I love comedy, I never stopped loving her,” he continued. “But my goal right now is to heal.” All that hard work has paid off for the comedian.
Tell us, HollywoodLifers! Are you happy Tracy and Megan got married?
