Take cover! Katy Perry and Taylor Swift’s ongoing feud is set to be reignited when the ‘Dark Horse’ singer releases her new diss song about her nemesis, and HollywoodLife can EXCLUSIVELY reveal how Taylor is handling the idea of a diss song! Get the scoop!
Bring it! You would think Taylor Swift, 25, would be mightily concerned about Katy Perry, 30, and her reported forthcoming diss song about the “Shake It Off” singer. But HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned Taylor’s reaction to the song, and it’s nothing you would ever expect!
Katy has teamed up with former boyfriend Diplo, 36, on a new track tentatively called “Crocodile Tears,” which will rip into the “Roar” beauty’s feud with Taylor. However, Taylor isn’t sweating the song out too much.
“Taylor isn’t worried about Katy’s diss song about her at all,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “If anything, she thinks it will help her out because it’ll draw more sales for her own single ‘Bad Blood.'”
The source also says that because Taylor drew first blood by releasing her song about their ongoing feud first, fans will see her as the woman who was hurt the most by the other’s actions and side with her. “Another theory she has is that because she got her song about their public feud out first, people will side with her as the person most scorned,” the source continued. “She’s super-relaxed about it, and welcomes the rivalry. Katy doesn’t scare her one bit.”
Katy Perry: Taylor Swift Diss Song Is Payback For ‘Bad Blood’
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Katy’s reported song “Crocodile Tears” is a direct response to Taylor’s “Bad Blood” — a song that was inspired in part by Taylor’s belief that Katy allegedly tried to wreck her tour by hiring her backup dancers! Taylor suggested that in a famous Rolling Stone interview in 2014.
“’Crocodile tears’ is a term used to describe insincere sorrow, and that’s exactly what Katy thinks Taylor tried to achieve in her interview with Rolling Stone back in 2014 when she made those outrageous claims,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
Wow! Fireworks will be flying when this finally gets released, and we can’t wait to hear Katy’s new track.
But what do you think, HollywoodLifers? Should Taylor be more concerned? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
