Get ready to get peculiar. Fans are getting a first look at what Tim Burton has in store with Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, and things are about to get weird. These first photos from the set are definitely going to make you want to sleep with one eye open. There are bugs, and creepy dolls, and more bugs! Oh, my!
We don’t even have to see the cast to know that Miss Peregrine’s is going to be an all-out shudder-fest. The set photo the movie’s official Twitter accounted tweeted on Aug. 20 is pretty darn creepy. The lamp featured in the photo is home to bugs. And they’re not just tiny creepy-crawlies; they’re GIANT creepy-crawlies.
To make things even more frightening, there’s an eerie doll peering from the side. Additional photos feature the ghostly-looking town of Cairnholm and what looks like a dark and mysterious forest.
Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children follows a teenager named Jacob, who searches for clues that lead him to the school. Once Jacob starts investigating, he realizes that the children were more than just peculiar. They also had amazing powers and may not be gone for good.
The movie, based on the best-selling novel by Ransom Riggs, stars Eva Green as Miss Peregrine, Asa Butterfield as Jacob, Samuel L. Jackson as Barron, Allison Janney as Dr. Golan, Judi Dench as Miss Avocet, Rupert Everett and Kim Dickens. It is set to be released in March 2016. That’s plenty of time to ready yourself for all the scary moments!
