This can’t be easy for Anna to see! In the video, which was originally aired on TLC in June 2008, shows Josh openly speaking about the importance of loyalty before singing “The Loyalty Song” to his wife in front of their entire congregation. “I’ll be there, until the end with you/ I’ll do my best to be faithful and true,” he sings, while looking into his wife’s eyes. “Through the hardest of days, we will choose the right way/By commitment I’ll prove, yes I will be loyal to you.”
Unfortunately, those statements couldn’t be farther from the truth. The family values proponent recently admitted to being addicted to pornography and cheating, after it was revealed that he had not one, but TWO paid accounts on the extramarital-affair hookup site called Ashely Madison on Aug. 19. “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever,” Josh said in a statement . “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife. I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him.”
And yet, despite the fact that Josh’s secret life has now been put on blast, it’s been revealed that Anna actually has no intentions of bailing on their marriage. In fact, a source close to Anna reveals that she is even blaming herself for Josh’s mistakes! “Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him,” a source told PEOPLE. “Divorce is not even something that will be discussed.”
