Girl power! Little Mix has banded around Perrie Edwards in her time of need after splitting with Zayn Malik, and she’s more than grateful for her sisters’ support! It’s going to get better, Perrie!
Perrie Edwards, 22, and the other girls from Little Mix — Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson and Jade Thirlwall — spoke in an interview on August 20 about their bond as bandmates and besties. They’re totally tight, and can’t really bear being without each other! That’s getting Perrie through the most difficult time of her life, dealing with her breakup with Zayn Malik, 22. When girls stick together, they can do anything! To hear more about Zayn Malik, head over to iTunes and download the latest HollywoodLife podcast for free!
Don’t you love a story about girls taking charge? The Little Mix ladies love each other to death, and told Elvis Duran on The Z100 Moring Show on August 20 that they put each other first before anyone else. Friends forever! That’s clearly helping Perrie mend her broken heart; she doesn’t need to think about Zayn when she has her pals around.
“We know that when girls stick together, we literally are a force to be reckoned with,” Perrie said during the interview. “We know that it’s more important to have each other than anything else. We never even argue. Like last night, we’ve been on this trip in America, we live in each other’s pocket, you’d think we’d be sick of each other, but no! We wanted to have a sleepover last night! It’s just nice.”
So lovely! Friends like that are hard to come by, and it’s wonderful that being on tour together 24/7 hasn’t gotten on the girls’ nerves. They have to stick together, after all! Perrie has her friends over “anything else;” she doesn’t need someone in her life like Zayn bringing her down.
“We just feel so lucky that we have each other to experience everything what we’re going through and I think if we were on our own, it would be awful. I’d hate it! I feel like I lost my arm, or my limbs,” Jesy chimed in. It’s clear that these four are always going to have each others’ backs, no matter what they’re going through. For Perrie, that’s the end of an engagement. But soon, it’s not even going to matter. She’s having too much fun with her girlfriends to even remember Zayn!
