Troy was first taken to the police station, where he continued his self-harm attempts, The Sun reported. He was then moved to a nearby hospital where he is currently under medical supervision, the publication continued.

Louis hasn’t lived with his real father since he was a baby and according to The Sun, he hasn’t seen him in three years. It was also reported that Troy recently reached out to Louis after finding out that he’s an expecting father, but Louis was not interested in “making up.”

Troy’s suicide attempt had nothing to do with Louis though, a source close to the family told the newspaper. The said it caused by depression and a number of recent incidents with friends. “It’s tragic. He is drinking heavily and a habitual dope smoker and that will mess with your mind,” the source said.

“He used to live with me but I kicked him out because he was drinking so heavily and I was getting over a bereavement,” an old friend of Troy’s told the paper. “Nobody wants anything to do with him. It’s desperately sad.”

After a day under suicide watch, Troy was required to appear in front of magistrates on charges of drink driving. His lawyer told the court, “He is very low and has been involved with the crisis team who have assisted him in relation to his psychiatric health and accommodation.”
