NO ONE is going to mess with Cara Delevingne, 23, if she ever gives modeling another go! After making her acting debut in Paper Towns and landing a role in the highly-anticipated Suicide Squad, the 23-year-old has decided to completely jump ship and focus on a career in acting, and maybe even music. But even though she’s said she won’t be “doing fashion work any more,” that doesn’t mean you’ll never see Cara in another fashion or beauty campaign.
“Cara is still open to offers, but it will all be in the context of her career as an actress,” an insider tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Actors always get hired to be the face of big brands, and Cara would be down to do that.” But since she knows how things in the modeling industry work, Cara is coming prepared this time around.
“You can bet there there will be tons of rules in place for any of those deals, like what she can and can’t wear and how she’ll be portrayed,” our insider adds. “She’ll want final say on all of it.”
How Kendall Jenner Persuaded Cara To Quit Modeling
The Paper Towns star admitted that modeling caused her major physical and mental stress, and luckily, her friends in the industry, especially Kendall Jenner, 19, have been super supportive. “They think she’s doing the right thing,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Kendall has been one of her biggest fans. She and her whole family pushed Cara to make the jump and quit modeling in order to focus on acting.”
HollywoodLifers, do you think Cara should quit modeling? Are you surprised she still wants to star in campaigns as an actress?
