Aww! Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui shared some emotional words about heartbreak on Twitter — right after Perrie Edwards broke down in tears while performing on stage. See her heartfelt message here.
Seeing Perrie Edwards, 22, choke out the final lyrics to “The End” during Little Mix’s Aug. 19 performance was so heartbreaking. One person her tears really hit home with seemed to be Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui, 19, who took to Twitter after Little Mix’s performance to share some words about heartbreak — and fans seem to think her words were directed at Perrie!
“And take a moment for the girl with the broken heart. May she feel her pain, wake up one day, and realize it’s faded away. And she remains,” Lauren wrote on Twitter after Perrie ended Little Mix’s performance in tears. Even though Lauren didn’t mention Perrie directly, her kind words appear to be so fitting to the Little Mix singer’s situation. Since Perrie’s split from Zayn Malik, 22, she’s appeared to stay strong and confident — that is, until she couldn’t hide her tears when performing the emotional ballad and sobbed into the mic.
Perrie has been lucky enough to have immense support from her bandmates, who hugged her after she broke down, and from fans on Twitter. Fans also seem to think that Lauren’s tweet was out of sympathy for Perrie. One fan wrote, “Is this about Perrie?” while another wrote, “perrie read this” and also, “this is for Perrie?” Either way, Perrie can definitely learn something from Lauren’s sweet words!
Unfortunately, Zayn hasn’t made things easy for Perrie to move on. He’s taken quite a few public digs at his ex, and it’s no wonder it seems to be taking a toll on Perrie. The former One Direction star first unfollowed Little Mix on Twitter, then he dissed their latest single, and then shaded Taylor Swift after Little Mix performed with her! Yikes. His friends are even starting to worry about his destructive behavior.
