What did we just see?! A very bizarre mashup video featuring the famous children’s show, ‘The Teletubbies’, has gone viral and it hands down could pass as a scene out of a trippy dream. Click to watch the video for yourself!

In case you didn’t think The Teletubbies weren’t already creepy enough, YouTuber Robert Jones created this entirely bizarre, thoroughly unsettling mashup video featuring Die Antwoord’s clubby single, “I Fink U Freeky” set to a 2 minute clip of The Teletubbies being, well, Teletubbies. The result? A freakish video that’s most definitely NOT for kids.

The South African rap group Die Antwoord is already know for its surreal sound and disturbing music videos, so when the YouTuber brought The Teletubbies into the mix, things were bound to get increasingly weird.  The video starts with Tinky Winky, Dipsy,Laa-Laa and Po huddled together and making whispering gestures as Antwoord’s Yo-Landi, 31, can be heard singing the song’s opening lyrics: “Sexy boys, fancy boys.” What proceeds is over a minute and a half of the chubby, child-like aliens dancing, running through a field where a magical windmill dispenses rave-like glitter, and miming the song’s lyrics with eerie perfection. None of these things should go together and yet, they somehow do, which is perhaps what makes this video so utterly baffling.

Naturally, the Twittersphere had a whole lot to say about this one, with comments ranging from “WTF??” to “This makes total sense.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time the Teletubbies have totally freaked us out with their oddball ways. Back in March 2015, fellow YouTuber Christopher Brown created what may hands down be the most horrifying mashup video of all time.  He decided to take an already eerie song called “Atmosphere” by the band Joy Division and set it with a four minute black and white clip of the Teletubbies show. The outcome? An absolutely terrifying video that will forever ruin your childhood. And that’s a promise.
