Drake isn’t completely satisfied with Meek Mill’s apology. In fact, he thinks Meek could learn a lesson from none other than Taylor Swift when it comes to saying ‘I’m sorry!’ But the thought isn’t exactly complimentary to Taylor — it’s actually a backhanded slap at both stars.
Meek Mill, 28, finally manned up and somewhat apologized for the online and rap war he started with Drake. But Drake, 28, thinks Meek is simply backing down like Taylor Swift, 25, did after offending Nicki Minaj, 32 on Twitter. As a result he thinks that Tay and Meek would make the perfect couple, and Hollywoodlife.com has the EXCLUSIVE details!
“It’s cool if Meek wants to bow down to Drake and end their little spat, but Drake would have appreciated if he would have been a man about it and flat out said ‘I’m sorry Drake’ or ‘I apologize to you Drake’ an insider tells Hollywoodlife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“You know, like how Taylor Swift was a woman about hers and straight up apologized to Nicki on social media! That would have been the proper way for Meek to apologize” our source continued.
“Drake still thinks Nicki’s is too much woman for Meek and thinks Meek would be better off with Taylor Swift – you know, because they both like to surrender. Meanwhile, Drake will gladly be with Nicki. Together, they’d have the entire hip hop community bowing down to them, just like Meek and Taylor did, respectively.” OUCH! We have a feeling Taylor’s boyfriend Calvin Harris, 32, wouldn’t be to thrilled with that idea.
Meek’s Weak “Apology” To Drake
Meek got the feud rolling several weeks ago when he called out Drake for using ghostwriters for his songs. But Drake quickly responded in rhyme, calling him out with two scathing diss tracks that put Meek in his place. Meek came back with his own attempt at a diss song, which was roundly jeered as as a pretty weak attempt to save face.
On Aug, 14, Meek came back with an equally weak “apology” when he took to his Instagram to say “I’m not entertaining no rap/real beef over drake s/o rapper! I can’t fall for the oldest trick in the book and I never shoulda entertained it bcuz it won’t bring me no money or success” he wrote on his Instagram. Um, Meek, that’s not exactly the way to say “I’m sorry.”
Hollywoodlifers, what do you think of the latest developments in the Drake/Meek throwdown?
