We have definitely seen the light! Tom Hiddleston is practically twins with country legend Hank Williams, and we’re even more excited that he’s starring in this biopic!

The first official photo of Tom Hiddleston, 34, as late country star Hank Williams in the biopic I Saw The Light has arrived. Tom’s a vision in a cowboy hat, and we’re totally swooning over here! Though I Saw The Light is bound to be a tearjerker, let’s just be happy for a moment staring at Tom, okay?

How incredible does Tom look in that cowboy hat? While a British actor wouldn’t necessarily be our first guess when it comes to casting a country music legend, we know that Tom’s got the acting and vocal chops — and as it turns out, he’s a dead ringer for Hank! Maybe this film should have been called “Hey Good Lookin'” instead?

There’s no sign of Loki here! Tom’s piercing green eyes are on display, along with a clean-cut, classic haircut and suit. We’re dying to see more of what he’s wearing though; Hank wasn’t afraid to get a little flashy with his wardrobe, so for all we know, Tom’s rocking pants covered in studs and roses! Please, please let that be the case!

I Saw The Light co-stars Elizabeth Olsen, 26 — Tom’s rumored girlfriend! — and follows Hank’s legendary rise to fame, as well as the struggles in his personal life. Though he became a country superstar, Hank was plagued by problems with drugs and alcohol, suffering heart failure at the too-young age of 29 due to these demons.

We know that Tom’s a masterful actor, and is going to make us cry too much during this film. We’re still going to see it, though; we’re looking for more Hatted Hiddleston and waiting impatiently to hear him sing!

HollywoodLifers, do you think Tom looks like Hank Williams?
