‘Pretty Little Liars’: A Shocking First Look At The Girls 5 Years Later — Video

Tue, August 11, 2015 11:36pm EDT by Chris Rogers 4 Comments

This winter, the future is here! ‘Pretty Little Liars’ jumps five years forward, and thanks to an amazing new promo, which aired after the explosive summer finale on Aug. 11, we get to see Alison, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily as their future selves. Watch the video here.

Just because CeCe Drake (formerly known as Charles) declared “game over” at the end of the Aug. 11 finale of Pretty Little Liars, doesn’t mean Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) are out of the woods. When the series returns in 2016, the timeline of the series will have shifted five years in the future, and they’re still dealing with a lot of “nightmares,” “impossible choices,” and Sara Harvey’s (Dre Davis) terrifying return.

In the 30-second promo, we see Alison as a teacher, Spencer with bangs (!), and the girls reuniting. But not everything is sunshine and roses. In the video, we soon hear Emily venting to Toby (Keegan Allen) about how “college wasn’t what I thought it was going to be,” Mona asking Spencer if she “still has nightmares,” and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) telling Spencer (?), “you were given an impossible choice.” As for Aria, she’s heard yelling, “I know you did this to protect me,” as we see a surveillance video of her showing Ezra (Ian Harding) some affection. And as Emily tries telling herself, “this isn’t happening,” she spots a spooky-looking Sara hovering over a grave in a cemetery.

Is Sara standing over CeCe’s (Vanessa Ray) grave? Are Emily and Toby hooking up? Why is Caleb having such a deep conversation with Spencer? Have all the relationships shifted? Even though we got so many answers during the summer finale, we now have a lot more questions!

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you excited for Pretty Little Liars Season 6B? Vote in our poll and tell us how you feel!
