This needs to happen. Zayn Malik, 22, is gearing up for a solo career after leaving One Direction, and there’s one artist who would love to work with him — Chris Brown, 26! Breezy dished in a recent interview that he thinks Zayn is a “great artist,” and it would be “cool” to collaborate on a song together. Zayn and Chris are now a part of the same record label — RCA Records. When asked if he would like to work with Zayn, Chris told Capital FM, “Of course, of course, [I’d work with him]. I don’t shy away from anyone and I think he’s a great artist. Now he’s doing his solo thing, I know he has a huge fan base and the fans are waiting to hear his stuff, so it would be cool to get down and collab.”
We can hardly contain our excitement! Zayn is hard at work on his first solo album, and Chris also revealed it wouldn’t be difficult thing to get into the recording studio with Zayn. “I’m not a hard guy to get in the studio with, I’m on everybody’s songs, so any time,” he continued.
Zayn promised his fans, after it was announced his engagement to Perrie Edwards, 22, was over, that his new music was just around the corner. “Gonna get this done for you !! I promise this album will be amazing,” he tweeted on Aug. 5. He also added, “Got something exciting coming soon :)!”
HollywoodLife.com learned EXCLUSIVELY that Zayn had been looking into a rap career, and a report claimed that solo music would be “slowed down R&B and quite sexual.” Well, Chris is one of the best and most popular artists in R&B, so Zayn could learn some things about the genre from the “Loyal” singer. Chris and Zayn’s voices together would make hearts everywhere melt!
