So shocking. An amended lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina Brown’s conservator claims Nick Gordon gave her a ‘toxic cocktail’ and then put her face down in a bathtub, which she was found in on Jan. 31. The amended complaint, filed on Aug. 7, also adds a wrongful death count.
Is Nick Gordon responsible for Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s July 26 death? That’s what an amended lawsuit filed by her court-appointed conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, claims. The amended complaint, filed on Aug. 7, says Nick returned to the home he shared with Bobbi Kristina on Jan. 31 after “being out all-night on a cocaine and drinking binge.” The suit claims that after engaging in a heated argument with Krissy, Nick allegedly gave her a “toxic cocktail” and put her body face down in a bathtub, causing her to suffer brain damage.
The original suit was filed on June 24, and it accused Nick of “assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and transferring money from her account into his own without authorization,” according to NBC News. The amended complaint adds a wrongful death count.
The lawsuit claims Nick came home from a “cocaine and drinking binge” at 6 a.m. on January 31. He then allegedly watched footage of Bobbi Kristina and listened to the conversations she had while he was gone. They soon began arguing in the kitchen before moving to the master bedroom, the lawsuit further claims. Nick allegedly accused Krissy of cheating — the fight lasted for approximately 30 minutes before “everything abruptly became quiet.” The lawsuit then says that Nick “gave Bobbi Kristina a toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious and then put her face down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage.”
The suit also claims Nick came out of the bedroom wearing different clothes, got into bed with a female guest and said, “Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.” 15 minutes later, a guest allegedly found Bobbi Kristina unresponsive in her bathtub. Nick allegedly came into the bathroom, let the water out of the tub and yelled, “Clean up, clean up.” And that’s when Nick, and a few others, reportedly tried to resuscitate Krissy and called 911. As you’ll recall, Bobbi Kristina was then transported to North Fulton Hospital, where she was revived. She was then placed in a medically-induced coma. Krissy was diagnosed with “global and irreversible brain damage” and the lawsuit says “as a result of [Gordon’s] actions.”
On Friday, Aug. 7, Bobbi Kristina’s conservator amended the complaint, saying:
I am deeply saddened by the recent death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. I extend my sincerest condolences to all of her family. Consistent with and to the letter of the civil action I initially filed on behalf of Bobbi Kristina, we will continue to pursue justice for her. I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count for wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The amended suit also reveals more details about an incident, when Nick allegedly knocked out Bobbi Kristina’s tooth.
