“I think all three of us — Ed O’Neill, Christina Applegate and myself all told David yes,” Katey told us at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. “It’s a continuation, I think, of Bud Bundy’s story.”
The actress also said that she definitely prefers the original show ideas — you know like the ones her husband, Kurt Sutter creates, however a reboot of sorts works “if you actually have a story to tell about those people.”
‘Married… With Children’ Never Ended
“The only reason a Married… With Children reboot might make sense to me is, you know, it never really ended, so it might be nice to see that,” Katey said. Well yes, we’re going ot say it would definitely be good to see that. As for where the Bundys are today, she’s not sure. “They’re in a trailer somewhere!”
We spoke briefly with Christina at the Vacation premiere in LA as well, where she told us that she’s been in communication with David and Ed as well, and that she would “be involved in the pilot for sure.”
